Close Quarters Carbine Skills
2-day program (20 hours)
Abstract
This course is designed for personnel who are looking for enhanced knowledge and skills of the tactical carbine platform and its application at ranges from contact distance out to no greater than 50 yards. The course and its various courses of fire focus on techniques that have a broad array of applications for the carbine and submachine gun systems; including, patrol operations, emergency response, close quarters deployment, and intermediate range applications. The course is designed to provide a high degree of personal development topics concentrating on those areas that will enable the professional to become a more effective operator.
Note this is not a basic carbine program or patrol rifle program, this is specially designed course that focuses on close quarters use of an extended range and accuracy weapon.

This class is focused at those who use a carbine or rifle in the course of their occupation to protect themselves and others. The program and its various courses of fire focus on proven techniques that have a broad array of applications for the rifle or carbine including, patrol operations, emergency response, personal defense and intermediate range applications under the most austere conditions. The course is designed to provide a high degree of personal development topics concentrating on those areas that will enable the operator to become highly proficient.
This is both a physically and mentally demanding program, students should be in good physical condition and be capable of carrying moderate weight, sprinting for brief periods and assuming awkward positions with no assistance.

Abstract
This program is based on real-world combative experience developed by a veteran of more than two decades of front line military and law enforcement duty in some of the most arduous environments on the planet. As an advanced skill development course that starts where Intuitive Defensive Handgun Stops, this program teaches the most effective and efficient application of a handgun imaginable while taking into consideration real world events that unfold quickly in actual engagements and applying them to the training environment. Taking students far outside their comfort zone and confronting them with new challenges and forcing them to solve problems rapidly. This program focuses on dynamic movement, reaction time enhancement, compressed distance and unconventional shooting positions.
This demanding program is delivered in a contemporary and legally defensible format. The student will develop and define reactionary competence through simulated situations and demanding initiative based drills.
This course has a force on force scenario based drill program, students will participate in live force on force exercises against role players in exercises that simulate real-world conditions and events.

This fast moving and dynamic course provides an aggressive and practical method for employing the shotgun. Students will be provided with a practical understanding of the combative shotgun, its limitations and methods to maximize its performance.
